hellos everyone!
i'm back from LTC 2006!
it's been really great!
(yes i know. you think i'm crazy and you want to shoot me down.)
although i'm aching like everywhere, i really enjoyed myself in this camp. x))
it's been great learning so many great stuffs.
i think that all those discipline the leaders have been enforcing on us is drilling itself in my brain!
like super!
the first thing i came home and saw my sister and she starting moaning and whining about getting her way.
i got so irritated and asked her to appreaciate her rice instead of asking mummy and daddy to go get eggs to fry fried rice because the food is already cooked.
LOL!
and like high elements wasn't as "fun" as it looked.
it was SUPER SCARY.
the hanging logs thing was like so far apart from each other!
i couldn't reach and it was so high!
and i couldn't balance!
SCARY!
i tried and tried and tried.
in the end, i realised my arms were too short. -.-
my arms are like 15cm shorter than rena's!
i got through the tension trevorse thing.
(is that how you spell it? i like writing in parenthesis.)
i wanted to do the challenge pole please!
but couldn't! x((
it was like standing at the top of the pole, jumping and grabbing the smaller pole thing hanging in the air!
i did broken bridge too.
i think i'm horrible at high elements. ><
low elements was fun.
we were super high cheering for each other!

it was one of those times when delta was actually enthusiastic!
(not that we weren't enthusiastic. we were just more enthusiastic. HAHA.)
and then we had analyse and construct.
we had to construct a shelter with the dog sticks provided and whatever we have.
ours looked like a shore shack!

hahahahs!
we also had tower/rockwall stuff.
we only had a chance to do abseiling because it started raining. x((
cheryl and wenhui went for zipline.
when it was my turn, the weather started to turn bad and i couldn't go!
AHHHHHHHH!
i was so disappointed please!
i had been waiting super long for that ride! x((
and there was field cooking too.
we made a huge mess i think.
but it was fun nonetheless.
lastly was crossing boundaries.
it was a super long walk to labrador park.
walked until i wanted to die.
we had some kind of amazing race thing using orienteering skills that consisted of compasses and maps and stuff.
then weather started turning bad and we had to jog back to camp.
it was SO TIRING. x((
i've never ran so much in my whole entire life!
okays. maybe i did.
but that's not the point!
even if i don't become a leader, i think that this camp really taught me so many things.
and i'll have advantages in oac!
